Soul
is a slow creature,
distastes
things done in haste.
It
loves tiny moments,
seeks
each of them,
to
sniff, kiss and embrace.
Mother
says to work slow
for
soul to come out on the surface,
else
it sinks back.
And,
it then takes
years
of slowness
to
bring forth the creature
exiled in ones inner
recess.Years of slowness first appeared in Temper Literary Review
